Do Not Use!! My daugter wanted this money to buy a pair of roller skates and they have not sent payment and you cannot get thro on the phone and they do not reply to emails!!!! Very disappointing

Wouldn't give the a single star. Sent them my phone and they said it was scratched (which it wasn't). Offerd me considerably less for the phone than originally offered. Wanted to charge me £12 to send the phone back so accepted their reduced offer. Emailed me to say they were processing my payment but surprise surprise haven't received a penny despite emails and telephone calls.

Please do not deal with this company. Firstly Skyphones said the phone was scratched and faulty screen (Rubbish),secondly still waiting for my payment which i should have received 3 months ago and thirdly it is impossible to contact them,they do not reply to e-mails or telephone calls, complete scam YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!

As with all other reviewers I sent my phone on 01/10/10 and up till now 18/12/10 I am still awaiting payment 18/12/10 despite numerous e mails.
I was also offered a lower price than advertised due to scratches on the screen? Do not use this company.

Phone was in very good condition no scratches. Sent it off to these cowboys, only to get an e-mail back with a reduced offer saying the screen was scratched. Had to accept their offer otherwise it would cost £12 to send the phone back to me. Could not get in touch with them... phone kept ringing and they do not respond to e-mails. Finally received payment, 6 weeks later, after threatening to take legal action. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!

DO NOT USE AT ALL COSTS. I have recycled a few mobile phones over the years with no problems whatsoever but was tempted to use this company because of the high price they offered. Similar to other people they tried to say my phone was faulty and offered a lower price. I sent an angry email response refuting this at which point I received a new email saying my phone had passed testing and that my money was being processed. It is now 19 days since I had this email and i have had no sign of the money. Definite SCAmE

Remarkably similar story - sent 2 phones and was told one wasn't working properly (not true). I am still awaiting any payment despite chasing and with no reply to my e-mails. If 0 stars were possible, they'd get it.

I really wish I had read these reviews first! Its such a rip off! They are not answering calls, emails or messages via their website, they are in possetion of my phone and I have seen no money for it! I sent it via DHL too so I know it was signed for. I have reported this to the Police as its quite obviously a scam and I believe they are obtaining property by deception! I urge you all to report them to Police as well because the more they get reported the more likely they are to be investigated and shut down!!!

After sending the phone away for free got an email back saying it had not met the requirements and had scratches on the screen and body (which there weren't) the email also said i could reject the new offer (which had been massively reduced from the original) but they would charge a fairly large sum of money. I was incredibly disapointed with their service which had started good and very promising, this due to the phone being in good condition. Would NOT recomend

I sent my perfectly conditioned Blackberry to Skyphones on 11Oct. I received an email on the 14th acknowledging receipt. Then on the 25th, an email claiming the phone had cosmetic damage. Rubbish! Rather than pay the fee of £12 to have it returned, I settled on the lower offer. Received emails on 28th and 29th claiming payment was being processed, but nothing since. I managed to get hold of them on the phone, once. They claimed that due to fraud, they no longer process payments by SMS or emailed Bar Code. I opted for BACS payment and gave them my bank details. They promised the money would be payed the following day. 17th of Nov and still no money. They do not answer their phone number, nor respond to emails.
I have contacted the OFT and have also sent them. by recorded delivery, a letter claiming breach of contract. I am claiming the full amount, plus interest of 8% from the day that payment should have been received.
Why are they still advertised on these sites? They are crooks and should not be permitted to trade.

I would give them no stars if it was possible. Quoted a good price, sent the phone to them and received an email saying the phone was being tested. After a week I emailed to ask the result and they replied to say payment is on its way. I'm still waiting for payment as of a month tomorrow. Tried calling but they never answer the phone. COMPLETE SCAM.

DO NOT USE SKY PHONES! I sent my mobile phone in at the beginning of September, recieved an email saying they wont give me the full amount and that it was damaged! Not true when i sent it but not paying double the price the are giving me to get the phone back! I am still waiting for my payment, have sent 8 emails on their website and not one reply, i am absolutly fuming at the bad customer service and they don't answer their phones! Will not be using them again and i will be reporting them to trading standards!!!

i sent my nokia 5800 to sky phones and it took 3 weeks to get paid also i only got paid £70 instead of £79 they said that my phone a faulty screen ,but i know it didnt .to think if they did this to everyone they would make a killing DONT USE SY PHONES please

I sent a phone away 2 and a half weeks ago, I then received an email saying the screen was faulty (which it isn't), but I accepted the lower price as I was not going to pay £12 to get it sent back to me again. I have since received two emails saying payment is on it's way but this has never been received. I have sent two emails, and received no reply, and they do not answer their phone. Do not use this company.

RUBBISH !!! Sent 2 phones and have now, 2 weeks later been sent an email saying one has a scratched screen (well it certainly wasn't when I sent it) Have accepted, reluctantly the lower price but am still waiting on payment.
