I had an N78 which I decided to chop in for cash. used a comparison site, applied on like the 11th May. £73 - looked like a good price.
13th May packet arrived at my house, posted it off and waited 3 weeks, to be sent a cheque for £55.10 with no explanation for the deduction.

They will definately take 5% off from your because of the comestic used condition.And 7 days is too short for the process.Not highly recomended.

It is a real shame as I did not receive the same positive experience that the other reviewers have received. On receiving a quote of £170 from O2 I locked in my quote. On receiving the padded bag in the mail I sent my phone off straight away within the 7 days time frame. After waiting well and truly over the 5 day payment guarantee I chased them up to confirm they received my phone to find out they are deducting £50 due to depreciation as they claim they did not receive my phone in the 5 days.

Worst website ever - they took over 2 weeks to acknowlege the phones - they then said that they would not pay us anything for one of the phones as it was blocked ?? and would not even return it - and took 75% off the website quote - then when i asked them to send it back they were going to charge me an admin fee of £15!!! Use another site not o2!!

great service. it is very fast and i got a good price for my phone, i got £25.50 for a Sony ericsson w910i which is a quarter of its original price!!!

I sent o2 my nokia 5310 only to be told by them it has been registered as stolen and that they cant pay me or send it back to me. The phone has not been stolen, is in full working order and I have spoken to my service provider twice who insist there is no blacklist on the phone and that it shouldn't be causing any problems on the verification system o2 recycle use.
very didappointed - want either my phone or my money. don't recommend o2 recycle at all.

Good website, I was sent an envelope to put my mobile in and post it off. I did that and received a cheque in less than a week. Would certainly use O2 again and definitely recommend them to anyone. Thank you.

a great site, i had originally send to fonebank who failed my iphone and werent going to pay me anything, after a week of argueing they sent it back so i send to o2 who only took 5% for the scratch on the back! Got the cash paid straight into my bank aswell!
